Job summary

Raffles Institution in Singapore is seeking an IT Systems Administrator to provide and supervise IT support for staff and students. You will diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues across desktops, laptops, iPads, printers, and other peripherals.

You will also manage OS deployment, virtual environments, and patching, and coordinate server/network projects with procurement and vendors. MOE school experience is a plus, and the role is a 2-year contract (renewable).

Qualifications

• Experience administering Vmware, Hyper-V, Windows AD, MS365, MS Exchange, and SharePoint.
• Hands-on TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, VPN, VLAN, and network monitoring skills.
• Knowledge of network security, endpoint protection, and data security best practices.
• Ability to manage projects, procurement, and vendor coordination.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in Education / MOE schools preferred.
• This is a 2-year contract (renewable).

Duties

1. Provide and supervise IT support to staff and students

2. Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues for desktops, laptops, iPads, printers, and other peripherals

3. Manage operating system deployment, virtual environment, software installation, and patching processes

4. Troubleshoot server / network connectivity issues, including wired and wireless networks

5. Coordinate server and network enhancement projects, including procurement and vendor management

6. Manage MDM for student iPad PLD platform

7. Maintain and improve technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles

8. Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude while assisting end-users with their IT-related needs

Job Requirements

• Strong proficiency in the administration of Vmware, Hyper-v, Windows AD, MS365, MS Exchange, MS Sharepoint and networking devices (switches, firewalls, wireless network)

• Hands‑on experience with TCP/IP, LAN/WAN technologies, VPN, VLAN, and network monitoring tools

• Knowledge of network security principles, endpoint protection, and data security best practices

• Ability to manage projects, procurement processes and vendor coordination

• Good interpersonal skills and problem solving skills

• Past experience with Education / MOE schools preferred
