  • Job Responsibilities
  • Develop advanced metrology processes, including SEM, AFM, FIB, and other equipment, focusing on 3D NAND technology measurement techniques.
  • Own application development and process support for new nodes, including wafer recipe/model development for Fab4.
  • Collaborate with process engineers to identify inline detection solutions and support process integration.
  • Use metrology and detection data to model electrical failure signatures.
  • Work with US TD Metro team on technology selection and translate device needs into equipment roadmaps.
  • Coordinate with planning to understand Model-on-Record (MOR) impacts and maintain accuracy for technology ramp-up.
  • Influence vendor equipment roadmaps to support new technology development.
  • Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or related field; Master’s or PhD preferred.
  • Over 3 years of experience with metrology techniques like SEM, AFM, XRD, OCD.
  • Ability to travel internationally up to 3-5 months.
  • Strong English communication skills (verbal and written).

  • Develop new or modified process formulations, define equipment requirements, and review processing techniques from pilot to full-scale manufacturing.
  • Coordinate with engineering/scientific teams to ensure process compatibility.
  • Analyze test data to determine process and material specifications.
  • Plan projects involving new concepts, automation, and process improvements.
