Job summary

ResMed Singapore seeks a Mechanical/Biomedical Engineer to drive product development for connected medical devices. You will lead design activities, ensure regulatory compliance, and translate requirements into robust solutions.

You will collaborate across disciplines, mentor teammates, and advocate for quality and patient outcomes while delivering value to stakeholders in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent with significant product development experience.
• Experience designing complex electro-mechanical systems in a regulated medical device environment is preferred.

• Collaborate across the project team to define solutions and processes delivering value and meeting user needs.

Position Specific Skills

• Significant knowledge of product development process, including preparing documentation for the design history file.
• Significant knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD (PTC – Creo products preferred).
• Significant experience & application of simulation & analysis tools (e.g., Ansys, MoldFlow, Minitab).
• Significant experience in test, verification and validation traced to requirements and in developing test/process measurement capabilities.

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent with significant experience in a product development role designing complex electro-mechanical systems.
• Preferred: Significant engineering experience within the medical industry.
