DESIGNATION: Senior Engineer, L2 Network Operations Center (1-Net)

RESPONSIBILITIES

This role involves managing and supporting 1-Net's IT Services, including Cloud, Managed, Data Center, and Business Continuity services.

Responsibilities

• Providing 2nd/3rd level support for Network Services
• Resolving customer network issues
• Planning, implementing, reviewing, and managing network infrastructure projects and operations
• Testing, evaluating, and recommending new networking products
• Enhancing existing network services
• Improving network performance and security
• Optimizing routing policies and capacity to minimize latency and outages
• Securing the network with relevant policies
• Responding to network issues on standby 24x7
• Assisting L1/L2 Engineers with customer issues
• Recommending solutions for customer issues
• Maintaining network infrastructure
• Providing monthly performance review reports and capacity planning
• Ensuring solutions meet user requirements and work processes
• Timely and quality project delivery
• Implementing structured cabling and provisioning cross connections

QUALIFICATIONS

• Practical experience with LAN/WAN implementation, including router and switch configuration
• Knowledge of networking protocols such as BGP, VXLAN EVPN, OSPF, IOS-XR, NX-OS
• Structured network infrastructure support for Layer 2 & 3
• CCNA, CCNP certifications preferred
• Shift work required
