Job summary

Venture Corporation in Singapore is seeking a Senior Engineer, IT (Systems; Cybersecurity) to lead security operations and protect group data, systems and networks across global sites. Based at HQ in Ang Mo Kio, you will plan, implement and manage information security solutions and coordinate with vendors and site IT leads.

The role requires a degree in IT or Information Security and a minimum of 5 years in security engineering, threat hunting, incident response and ISMS experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor- or degree-level education in IT/Information Security.
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in cybersecurity, security engineering, or threat detection.
• Relevant security certifications (CISSP, Azure/AWS Security, GCED, GCIA or GCIH) are a plus.
• Experience with ISO27001 ISMS is advantageous.
• Experience with enterprise security solutions such as XDR, PAM, SIEM, Email & Cloud Security, DLP, ZTNA, SASE, SOAR, IAM, IIoT Security will be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement and manage Information Security solutions to protect data, systems and networks.
• Coordinate cybersecurity projects with global site IT leads and vendors.
• Organize cyber incident response drills and vulnerability assessments.
• Monitor and lead security incident responses and recovery efforts.
• Develop security awareness programs and training, including phishing simulations.

We’re looking to add aSenior Engineer, IT (Systems; Cybersecurity)inSingapore. The position is based in ourHQatAng Mo Kio.

As a Senior Engineer, IT (Systems; Cybersecurity), you will:

• Planning, implementing, managing Information Security solutions and measures for the protection of Venture Group’s data, systems and networks
• Manage cybersecurity projects & coordinate with global site IT leads and vendors to deliver security solutions and initiatives timely.
• Organize cyber incident response drills, penetration and vulnerability scans with external testers and internal IT teams and follow up with their remediations and closures.
• Monitor, investigate and develop strategies to lead security incident responses efforts and recover from security breaches.
• Plan security awareness program and conduct security awareness training, phishing simulation and initiatives.
• Develop and maintain documentation on security playbook, policies, procedures andISO27001:2022 ISMS.
• Working with all Group IT Pillars & business stakeholders to define security protocols and to secure IT systems.
• Part of Group IT Cybersecurity Team to work closely with managed security provider, Global Site IT teams and serve as an escalation point for all security-related issues to troubleshoot and establish root cause for continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Degree in Information Technology/Information Security
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in a cybersecurity, security engineering, or threat detection role.
• Relevant Security certification (CISSP, Azure/AWS Security, GCED, GCIH, GCIA or equivalent) is an added advantage.
• Experience with ISO27001 ISMS is a advantegous.
• Experience and knowledge in enterprise security solutions such as XDR, PAM, SIEM, Email & Cloud Security, DLP, ZTNA, ZTDP, SASE, SOAR, IAM, IIOT Security will be beneficial.
• Strong experience in threat hunting, detection engineering, incident response, and security operations.
• Proven understanding of the current vulnerabilities, incident response, and mitigation strategies used in cyber security.
• Knowledge of vulnerability assessment tools, forensic and threat hunting tools, security incident response and methods.
• Experience in performing security solutions POC, evaluation, testing and track record of security project management for successful implementation and roll-out.
