Main responsibilities:

The incumbent shall be responsible for assisting the site in designing, leading, and maintaining a world-class Environmental program aligned with local and international codes, recognized industry standards, and Sanofi requirements, from project conception to realization. This includes executing the site strategic roadmap to ensure compliance and the right to operate with various permits and licenses, as well as implementing all Sanofi HSES Standards through site-wide programs.

Specific programs to be implemented include Wastewater, Ozone Depleting Substances (ODS), Hazardous Wastes, Medical Wastes, Non-Hazardous Wastes, Air Emissions, Community & Boundary Noise Limitations, Storm Water, Trade Effluent, and the Planet Care program initiated by Corporate, among others. Responsibilities include working with stakeholders to implement ISO 50001 Energy Management System, managing waste collection and disposal programs, supporting compliance with local and corporate standards, preparing permit applications and compliance reports, developing procedures to minimize risks, leading cross-functional teams on sustainability programs, and reporting on environmental performance.

The role also involves collaborating with internal teams to identify environmental protection needs, managing contractors, participating in sustainability initiatives, and ensuring adherence to HSE requirements. The incumbent will also be responsible for data collection, expense management related to environmental sustainability, and sharing best practices to foster a strong HSE culture on-site.
