Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a Senior Engineer for Global Facilities Central Engineering, Construction (Water & Waste) in Singapore.

You will lead water and wastewater construction engineering across the full project lifecycle, from design through handover, ensuring safety, on-time delivery, and quality aligned with budget and standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage risks, and support sustainability and BKMs while focusing on cost controls and schedule adherence

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of engineering experience with at least 5 years on water/wastewater construction projects.
• Experience in EPCM project environments and in project controls (cost, schedule, risk).

Because doing so can fuel the very innovation we are pursuing.# **Senior Engineer – Global Facilities Central Engineering, Construction (Water & Waste)**## **Job Summary**Provide water and waste construction engineering support for semiconductor facility projects across the U.S. and Asia, covering the full project lifecycle from design through commissioning and handover. This role ensures projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to required quality standards, while supporting global consistency, sustainability, and operational excellence.## **Main Responsibilities*** Lead water and waste construction engineering across project lifecycle (design, construction, commissioning, and handover)* Drive delivery of large-scale fab projects in alignment with scope, schedule, cost, and quality requirements* Review and validate water, wastewater, and environmental system designs to ensure compliance with standards, codes, and project requirements* Provide technical support to resolve construction, installation, and design issues* Monitor construction progress and ensure timely resolution of technical challenges* Support development of project cost estimates, schedules, and business justifications* Coordinate consultants and contractors to ensure effective and aligned project execution## **Other Responsibilities*** Collaborate with cross-functional teams (facilities, procurement, manufacturing, operations, IT) to ensure project alignment* Communicate project updates, risks, and key decisions to stakeholders and leadership* Identify and mitigate project risks proactively* Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives* Contribute to development and standardization of Best Known Methods (BKMs)* Support sustainability programs, particularly water conservation, waste reduction, and environmental compliance* Support capacity planning and infrastructure optimization across global sites## **AI Responsibilities*** Apply AI-assisted tools to improve engineering analysis, system optimization, and project execution efficiency* Identify opportunities to leverage data and AI for enhanced decision-making and environmental system performance* Share and adopt AI-enabled best practices to support continuous improvement## **Candidate Profile / Job Requirements**### **Minimum Required Qualifications / Experience*** Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related discipline.* Minimum 8 years of relevant engineering experience, including at least 5 years supporting construction projects as a Water or Waste Engineer.* Experience in designing water and wastewater systems engineering, including treatment, distribution, and waste handling systems.* Experience working in EPCM project environments.* Expertise in construction project execution and project controls, including cost, schedule, and risk management.* Experience reviewing engineering designs and validating regulatory compliance requirements.* Strong technical problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.### ### **Must Have Soft Skills*** Strong communication and stakeholder management* Leadership and coordination across multi-disciplinary teams* Analytical thinking and decision-making capability* Strong organizational and planning skills**About Micron Technology, Inc.**We are an industry leader in innovative memory and storage solutions transforming how the world uses information to enrich life *for all*.
