Job summary

Micron Memory Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a Senior Engineer, Construction – Mechanical to provide technical engineering support for semiconductor facility projects globally. You will lead construction activities across design, construction, commissioning, and operations, ensuring safety, on-schedule delivery, and cost control.

The role involves reviewing design packages, guiding cross-functional teams, and driving optimization and sustainability across large-scale fab projects in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction, Building Services, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of mechanical engineering experience, including 5 years supporting construction projects.
• Experience with semiconductor facilities and process systems design (Cleanroom HVAC, CHW, PCW, Exhaust, CDA, Vacuum, etc.).
• Experience in EPCM project environments and ability to review engineering drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead construction engineering activities for semiconductor facilities across design, construction, commissioning, and operations phases.
• Provide technical engineering support to construction teams to drive project execution and operational excellence.
• Manage scope, schedule, cost, and quality to meet project and business requirements.
