A leading company in building facilities management is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee daily operations, manage projects, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Facilities Management, 4-6 years of relevant experience, and strong knowledge of ACMV systems. This role offers an opportunity to work in a complex institutional environment and contribute to service excellence.
Support the planning, operations, and compliance of building facilities, including ACMV systems, to ensure service excellence, safety, and regulatory adherence.
What you'll be doing
Oversee daily operations and maintenance of building systems, including ACMV and civil works
Plan and manage building projects, upgrades, and lifecycle replacements
Monitor specialist vendors' performance to ensure contract compliance and KPI fulfilment
Assist in contract drafting, evaluation, execution, and ensure audit and policy compliance
Provide technical support on facilities matters and lead incident investigations as needed
Ensure fire safety, Green Mark, and other statutory requirements are met
Maintain accurate documentation of contracts, maintenance records, and authority submissions
Develop and review SOPs and checklists aligned with cluster and industry best practices
Collaborate with Legal, Procurement, and Finance to manage risks in contract and procurement processes
Support training and capability development of the Building Trade and site teams
What we're looking for
Bachelor Degree level in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical)/ Facilities Management or related studies
4 - 6 years of similar experience, preferably in healthcare or complex institutional environments
Strong knowledge of ACMV systems, vendor and contract management
Familiar with regulatory and compliance frameworks in facilities operations
Experience participating in or overseeing annual shutdown activities
Ability to perform basic troubleshooting for facilities systems, including handling of power trips
Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical and engineering drawings
Strong organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
