Job summary

Vanguard International Semiconductor Singapore Pte. Ltd. seeks a process development engineer to create custom and derivative semiconductor processes for customers.

You will run DOE studies to optimize margins and specifications, monitor process parameters, and collaborate with customers and field engineers to resolve yield concerns. The role requires strong communication, independence, and the ability to meet tight timelines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with semiconductor knowledge.
• Experience in technology development, product transfer or process integration.
• Knowledge of wafer fabrication and semiconductor industry.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Independent and adaptable to diverse cultures.
• Hardworking and able to work independently and with teams.
• Able to meet tight timelines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop custom or derivative processes to meet customer needs.
• Run DOE to optimize process margins and ET specifications.
• Monitor OOC, maintain CPK for ET and inline SPC.
• Identify and resolve process integration and ET problems.
• Identify yield opportunities and set preliminary yield targets.
• Run prototype lots on new/derivative processes.
• Liaise with Customer/Field Engineers to resolve technical and yield concerns.
• Develop FMEA for custom/derivative processes.
• Document information of new/derivative processes.
• Support and implement process change requests.

• Identify and resolve process integration issues & ET related problems

• Liaise with Customer Engineers/Field Engineers to resolve customers’ technical & yield concerns
• Develop FMEA for Custom & Derivative processes
• Document relevant information of new / derivative processes.
• Support and Implement Process change requests.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Engineering with semiconductor process or device knowledge
• Relevant experience in technology development, product transfer or process integration related scope.
• Knowledge in Wafer fabrication process and semiconductor industry.
• Good presentation and communication skills
