We are seeking an Engineer to join our Industrial Engineering team. You will be responsible for layout of production equipment, capacity planning, capital budgeting, and cost management.

Responsibilities include:

  • Establish layout plans for all production equipment based on operational needs.
  • Maintain and improve capacity planning methodologies to ensure accuracy.
  • Achieve planned mix & capacity through equipment utilization improvement, conversion, or other capacity enhancement plans to meet operational goals.
  • Ensure timely equipment installation and release for production to meet operational needs.
  • Initiate tool-to-tool matching (Golden/Lemon) and benchmarking to optimize tool performance.
  • Update and maintain tool capacity and productivity databases for planning and tracking.
  • Manage capital budgets for equipment requirements, capacity mix, and new technology introduction.
  • Establish standard costing methodologies and perform regular cost assessments.
  • Oversee cost management activities including forecasting, tracking, modeling, analysis, and benchmarking.
  • Coordinate people productivity initiatives and management.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects and share best practices.
  • Participate in strategic planning for capacity expansion, productivity improvements, and cost reduction.
  • Lead automation initiatives and headcount modeling.
  • Conduct business continuity management and risk assessments.
  • Enhance existing systems, methodologies, and models.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Knowledge of wafer fabrication processes, equipment configurations, layout and capacity planning, and semiconductor process flow.
  • Proficiency in C+ programming.
  • Computer skills: MS Office, MS Access, VBA, SQL, Oracle, Cognos, AutoCAD.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Team player with problem-solving abilities.
