Job description

The Job:

You will assist in facilitating the planning, design and completion of a new development. You will work closely with the consultant team, contractors, government agencies and department units to ensure that project developments are aligned to the Campus Master plan and are completed within the given timeframe and kept within approved budget.

Your roles will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Identifying, managing and mitigating of risks and impacts of construction on existing services appropriately and timely
  • Providing and/or reviewing facility, utility, engineering and technical specifications to meet the needs of development and support operations facilities
  • Facilitating in full commissioning exercises such as working with user groups to develop facilities and M&E equipment lists, from preparing technical specifications of items, scheduling delivery, installation and commissioning of items to the managing of defect rectifications.
  • Ensuring all permits and licenses are properly documented and procured

Any other ad-hoc projects as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Civil/Building Construction, Engineering or equivalent with minimum 2-4 years relevant experience
  • Experience in planning the development of major facilities will be advantageous
