Job summary

QUESS SELECTION & SERVICES PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an Electrical/Electronic Engineer to design and integrate EE modules for automotive projects. You will drive circuit design, interfaces, PCB development, and verification within a cross-functional team.

The role requires hands-on experience in analogue/digital design, EMC, and reliability methods, plus strong English communication in an international environment. Hybrid collaboration with R&D teams is expected.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical/Electronic engineering with at least 3 years in electronic engineering.
• Automotive industry experience preferred.
• Experience in automotive R&D projects and at least one mass-production project from concept through industrialization.
• Strong knowledge of analogue and digital circuit design and electrical integration.
• Working knowledge of EE architecture, PCB design, EMC, requirements engineering, EE testing and electrical simulation.
• Familiarity with problem solving, Design for Manufacturing, FMEA/FMEDA, change management and product lifecycle processes.
• Ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken technical English in an international, cross-functional environment.

Responsibilities

• EE design: Design and select electrical/electronic modules and create detailed circuit designs.
• Architecture and interfaces: Decompose the electrical design into modules, identify dependencies and define interfaces.
• PCB development: Prepare PCB design requests and requirements, support PCB design kick-off, and perform final PCB reviews.
• Safety and quality: Initiate and maintain the EE contribution to Design FMEA and FMEDA, and apply design rules and standards.
• Verification: Create EE integration and verification test specifications, define acceptance criteria, execute module verification tests and analyze test coverage.
• Testability: Ensure the electrical module can be effectively tested in the product and support the creation of EE test specifications.
• Simulation and robustness: Plan and perform circuit, signal integrity, power integrity and EMC simulations; derive climatic robustness requirements.
• Planning and tracking: Estimate EE effort and cost, and create or update the EE development schedule.
• Documentation and release: Document EE design results, evaluate test results, prepare EE release notes and capture lessons learned.
• Cross-functional support: Provide electrical input to mechanical external interface specs and collaborate with system, software, mechanical, manufacturing and test teams.

• Experience in development projects in automotive, transportation or a similar industry; exposure to multiple R&D projects and at least one mass-production project from concept through industrialization is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of analogue and digital circuit design, EE detailed design and electrical integration.
• Working knowledge of EE architecture, PCB design, EMC, requirements engineering, EE testing and electrical simulation.
• Familiarity with structured problem solving, Design for Manufacturing, FMEA/FMEDA, change management, risk management and product lifecycle processes.
