About the Role

This role focuses heavily on the redevelopment of a new healthcare campus. You will support the Office of Campus Planning by collaborating closely with design consultants, medical planners, and users to prepare technical specifications for tenders, assess submissions, and provide recommendations on medical equipment, furniture, and fittings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and support the planning and procurement of medical and non-medical equipment, as well as furniture where needed.
  • Lead and facilitate user workgroups by organizing meetings, setting clear goals, driving discussions, and reviewing work plans and performance indicators.
  • Handle budget planning and ensure procurement activities stay within allocated budgets.
  • Work closely with users and stakeholders to prepare specifications for tenders.
  • Evaluate tender submissions and provide technical recommendations for medical, non-medical equipment, and furniture.
  • Assist in supporting tender committees during the evaluation process.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Electronics or a related engineering discipline with at least 5 years of relevant experience, or
  • Degree in Electronics or relevant engineering field with a minimum of 3 years of experience in medical equipment servicing and maintenance.

Preferred Skills & Competencies:

  • Prior experience in a similar role within healthcare institutions.
  • Strong project and organizational management skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Independent and proactive with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity and IT network basics is a plus.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and adapt to dynamic environments.
