A recruitment agency in Singapore is looking for a professional to manage procurement for a healthcare campus redevelopment initiative. Responsibilities include planning and leading procurement, preparing technical specifications, and ensuring compliance with healthcare standards. Candidates should have a degree in Electronics Engineering and at least 3 years of experience in medical equipment maintenance.
Overview
You will play a critical role in supporting a major Campus Redevelopment initiative. You will work closely with design teams, medical planners, and clinical users to plan, procure, and manage medical and non-medical equipment and furniture for the new healthcare campus. This includes preparing technical specifications for tenders, evaluating submissions, and providing technical recommendations.
You will also be attached to the Group/Site team to gain exposure to Biomedical Engineering (BME) policies and procedures, and support daily operations to ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
Job Responsibilities
Plan and lead the procurement of medical and non-medical equipment and furniture.
Organize and lead user workgroups by setting objectives, facilitating discussions, and monitoring progress.
Prepare technical specifications and evaluate tender submissions for compliance.
Collaborate with user departments and stakeholders to meet functional and operational needs.
Provide technical recommendations to end users and tender committees.
Monitor budget and ensure procurement aligns with financial plans.
Keep abreast of healthcare design and equipment trends to support strategic campus development.
Support Group BME operations and align local practices with institutional policies.
Liaise with contractors and vendors on service and performance commitments.
Offer technical advisory to users and senior management.
Perform other duties as assigned by the reporting officer.
Job Requirement
Diploma/Degree in Electronics Engineering or relevant field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in medical equipment maintenance or hospital engineering.
Prior exposure to healthcare equipment planning is preferred.
Proficient in procurement processes and technical evaluations.
Strong project management, organizational, and stakeholder coordination skills.
Effective communicator with excellent interpersonal and presentation abilities.
Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to manage multiple priorities concurrently.
