Job summary

Public Service Division in Singapore is seeking a role focused on the forward planning and coordination of energy and utilities infrastructure, collaborating with government agencies and industry partners to plan major electricity and gas infrastructure, including routing and land-use considerations for long-term energy security.

You will work on two main areas: Area 1 coordinating with SP PowerGrid and agencies on infrastructure routing; Area 2 planning land needs for energy infrastructures,

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Electrical/Chemical/Civil/Mechanical Engineering.
• 2 years’ experience in electricity generation and/or network planning.
• Experience in projects implementation, plants/network operations recommended.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate forward planning and routing of major energy infrastructure with Government Agencies and Licensees.
• Engage with ministries/agencies for land-use planning and project coordination.
• Assess feasibility studies and lead feasibility evaluations for greenfield sites.
