Job summary

Jobline Resources Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks an embedded software engineer to design, develop, and maintain software for waveform processing systems. You will implement components for waveform modes, sequencing, and coordination with DSP/FPGA blocks, contributing to system-level architecture and end-to-end software integration.

The role requires strong C/C++ with RTOS knowledge, DSP fundamentals, and hands-on experience with hardware–software interfaces.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering or related field.
• Strong C/C++ embedded software development with RTOS knowledge.
• Deep understanding of DSP and waveform processing with FPGA/DSP interaction.
• Hands-on experience controlling FPGA/DSP via APIs, registers, or memory-mapped interfaces.
• Familiarity with waveform or signal processing system architectures.
• Experience validating and verifying waveform behavior using simulation and tests.
• Proficiency with profiling, debugging, and troubleshooting embedded software.
• Experience debugging hardware–software integration across embedded processors, FPGA, DSP, RF.
• Ability to analyze issues systematically and document interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for waveform processing systems.
• Implement components for waveform modes, sequencing, control flows, coordination with DSP/FPGA.
• Contribute to embedded software architecture aligned with system design.
• Collaborate with DSP, FPGA, RF, and Systems Engineering for end-to-end integration.
• Participate in reviews of designs and APIs, providing technical feedback.
• Debug, validate, and optimize embedded software for correctness and performance.
• Assist in technical trade-off analysis and engineering decisions.
• Support system bring-up, integration, and testing across hardware/software.
• Produce and maintain docs on software architecture, interfaces, and behavior.
• Provide guidance and knowledge sharing to junior engineers.
