Job summary

CYGNIFY PTE. LTD. is seeking a senior Head of Test & QA to define the quality and verification strategy across embedded software, apps, IoT, and cloud platforms.

You will build high-performing QA teams, coach leaders, and provide technical direction for system, protocol, and CI/CD testing. You will drive automation, data-driven testing, and AI-enabled methods, and report quality status to executives with strong evidence.

Qualifications

• Over 15 years in software/embedded/IoT/app/cloud testing with 10+ years leading Test & QA teams.
• Proven experience managing hardware and software quality for large-scale consumer products.
• Strong automation depth across Python/C/Kotlin/Swift and related test frameworks.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, protocol testing, and API testing.
• Data-driven mindset with dashboards, observability, and quality analytics.
• Excellent leadership and ability to mentor teams and uplift engineering standards.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the quality and verification strategy across embedded software, app, IoT, and cloud platforms.
• Build and develop high-performing Test & QA teams; coach leads and managers.
• Provide technical direction for system and protocol testing, and test architecture.
• Drive automation, data-driven testing, and AI-enabled test methods.
• Represent Test & QA in governance and influence release decisions with quality evidence.
• Oversee quality metrics, dashboards, and analytics for defect trends and reliability.
