Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking an embedded software engineer to design, develop, and debug software for new products.

You will work on embedded Linux, Linux kernel, device drivers, and Yocto, collaborating with global teams to ensure robust, scalable solutions. Requires a Bachelor's degree and at least 4 years of relevant experience; strong C and Python skills; familiarity with RTOS BSP and Git for version control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science or electrical engineering.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in embedded software development.
• Strong programming experience in C and Python.
• Embedded Linux with Linux kernel, device drivers, device tree and Yocto experience.
• Experience with RTOS BSP, device drivers and Git or similar revision control.

Responsibilities

• Develop in-depth knowledge of modules and serve as SME for project consultation.
• Provide guidelines and documentation for owned modules.
• Gather requirements, design modules, consider corner cases and mitigate risks.
• Collaborate across teams for board bring-up, debugging and fixes.
• Engage in technical discussions, drive progress and communicate updates.
