Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a Senior Embedded Engineer (System) to design and develop a cutting-edge Power Quality (PQM) product in Singapore. You will transform engineering workflows into high-quality outputs and report to engineering leadership.

You will lead design and maintenance of embedded Linux systems, collaborate with clients, and drive testing, documentation and integration of bootloaders and kernels. Senior candidates with strong leadership are welcome.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science, engineering or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on embedded systems experience.
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly to technical and non-technical teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Senior positions for experienced candidates.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation and maintenance of Linux systems and applications.
• Deliver projects and liaise with clients to provide customised Embedded Linux solutions.
• Participate in project planning and management.
• Perform testing, defect tracking, bug fixing and version control.
• Develop automated tests for software/hardware to ensure business needs and regression testing.
• Create technical documents for software/hardware developed.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging Embedded System technologies and best practices.
