Job summary

SAP Asia Pte. Ltd. is seeking a high‑impact data scientist to design, develop, and deploy advanced ML models embedded in customer environments.

You will work in fast-moving delivery teams to translate strategic challenges into rigorous analytical solutions that drive measurable business value. You will apply statistics, experimentation, and ML techniques, and collaborate with customers to deliver enterprise-grade outcomes.

Qualifications

• Expert-level proficiency in data science and ML, with Python and SQL, and end-to-end analytical solution design.
• Hands-on expertise with Python ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, XGBoost).
• Deep statistics knowledge including experimentation, causal inference, and uncertainty interpretation.
• Proven experience applying ML techniques (classification, forecasting, clustering, recommendations, anomaly detection) at scale.
• Ability to translate ambiguous business questions into measurable analytical problems and tie model outputs to business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Transform business challenges into data-driven intelligence by framing problems analytically and engineering features and insights.
• Design, develop, train, and deploy ML models and algorithms to address complex business problems.
• Apply advanced techniques across exploratory analysis, forecasting, segmentation, and anomaly detection.
• Integrate analytics and ML solutions into products or processes with enterprise-grade scalability.
• Define success metrics and translate results into actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
• Lead complex analytical workstreams with deliverables, milestones, and risk management.
