A leading research institution in Singapore is seeking an experienced electronics engineer to design and develop digital and analog PCBs for quantum sensor systems. The ideal candidate has a strong background in microcontroller and FPGA programming, along with at least 5 years of experience or a PhD in Electrical Engineering. Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential for mentoring junior engineers and ensuring project success.
Key Responsibilities:
· Design and develop digital and analog PCBs for quantum sensor systems.
· Program and integrate microcontrollers and/or FPGAs for control and data acquisition.
· Collaborate with physicists and mechanical engineers to ensure seamless system integration.
· Supervise and mentor junior electronics engineers, fostering technical growth and best practices.
· Contribute to the transition of prototypes into robust, field deployable systems.
· Document projects progress and provide written reports when required.
Requirements:
· Bachelor, Master or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related field
· At least 5 years of relevant industry experience or a PhD in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Embedded Systems, or a related field.
· Proven experience in; Digital and analog PCB design, Programming of microcontrollers (e.g., STM32, Arduino, etc.) and/or FPGAs (e.g., Xilinx, Intel/Altera).
· Strong understanding of embedded systems, signal integrity, and hardware software co-design.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast paced R&D environment.
· Excellent communication and leadership skills.
