Job summary

U Square Engineering & Services is looking for an experienced commissioning engineer to lead electrical systems commissioning projects in Singapore. You will program, test, commission, and hand over systems including 22kV switchgear, transformers, protection relays and hipot, and prepare commissioning documentation.

Responsibilities

• Programming, testing, commissioning, and handover of Electrical Systems (22KV Switch gears, transformers, protection relays, hipot); prepare and maintain commissioning documentation.
• Supervision and Monitoring of defined test procedures start-up sequences, reliability test runs, and performance tests.
• Monitoring of functional and operational tests of various equipment to prepare the equipment for the first start-up.
• Manage and supervise a team of experienced commissioning technicians to execute Live equipment testing in a highly professional and safe manner.
• Ensure QAQC integration within commissioning processes and procedures.
• Witness and provide contractor resources to support FAT as required.
• Preparation of inspection reports, certificates, progress reports, and site correspondence.
• Liaise closely with the client QAQC/Testing teams.
• Generating MSCR's (Maintenance System Change Request) at the project handover stage.
• Ensure that commissioning acceptance criteria is aligned with design specification and client requirements.
• Any other duties required by the Commissioning Manager.
