Job summary

SP Power Projects is seeking a Senior Technical Officer (Electrical) to supervise daily electrical installation works on site. The role requires coordinating with contractors and consultants, reviewing drawings and SP Power standards, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The candidate should have a Diploma in Electrical Engineering and at least 3 years of relevant site experience, with preference given to those familiar with SP Power or electrical infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

Diploma in Electrical Engineering is required.
Relevant site experience is preferred.
Experience with SP Power, substations or electrical infrastructure projects is an asset.

Responsibilities

Supervise and monitor daily electrical installation works on site.
Ensure works comply with approved drawings, specifications, method statements and SP Power requirements.
Coordinate with electrical contractors, subcontractors and consultants.
Conduct site inspections and monitor workmanship, testing and installation progress.
Assist client with technical coordination and site matters.
Maintain daily site records, inspection reports and photographs.
Monitor electrical testing, commissioning and rectification works.
Ensure compliance with relevant safety requirements and regulations.
