Job summary

XP Power Ltd is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to own in-production engineering for SMPS products and drive reliability, cost reductions, and manufacturability improvements. You will lead root cause analysis, component lifecycle management, and production support across global sites.

Strong candidates will have extensive analogue/power/digital fundamentals, ECAD proficiency, and hands-on environmental testing experience.

Qualifications

Degree in electrical/electronic engineering or equivalent.
8+ years in electrical/electronics product development or sustaining engineering.
Strong analogue/power/digital fundamentals and ability to interpret schematics.
Experience qualifying electronic components and systems; understand manufacturing processes.
Hands-on experience with environmental testing and lab equipment.
Familiarity with ECAD tools (Altium, OrCAD) for schematics/PCB/Gerber.
Proficiency with FMEA, 8D, DOE and statistical analysis.

Responsibilities

Own in-production engineering for SMPS products, driving reliability, quality, cost, and manufacturability improvements.
Lead root cause analysis, component lifecycle management, compliance upkeep, and production support across global manufacturing sites.
Collaborate with cross functional teams to sustain SWPS products through their lifecycles.
Design test systems with software and hardware to achieve test automation; develop test plans and procedures.
Drive value engineering and cost reductions; qualify alternate components without performance regression.
Collect test data, generate reports, and maintain thorough documentation.
Conduct FMEA to identify high-risk electrical designs and implement mitigation actions.
Perform root cause analysis and derive countermeasures to prevent recurrence.
