Morgan Philips Group seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer in Singapore to support and enhance in-production SMPS products. The role drives reliability, quality, manufacturability, regulatory compliance, and cost optimization across the product lifecycle.

The successful candidate collaborates with engineering, quality, supply chain, and manufacturing teams to resolve technical issues and implement improvements.

Competenze

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 8 years in electrical/electronics product development, engineering, or sustaining engineering.
• Strong understanding of analogue, digital, and power electronics fundamentals.
• Ability to read and analyze electrical schematics and PCB designs.
• Experience with component qualification, reliability assessments, and manufacturing processes.
• Hands-on with lab equipment: oscilloscopes, power analyzers, electronic loads, signal generators, environmental tests.
• Familiarity with ECAD platforms such as Altium Designer, OrCAD, or equivalents.
• Experience with FMEA, 8D, DOE, and statistics.

Mansioni

• Own sustaining engineering activities for existing power electronics products throughout their lifecycle.
• Lead technical investigations for failures, reliability concerns, quality issues, and manufacturing challenges.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Conduct electrical testing, verification, and debugging (efficiency, thermal, regulation, EMI/EMC, safety).
• Develop test plans, validation procedures, and technical reports.
• Execute hands-on lab testing on power supplies, circuits, and components.
• Drive cost reduction through value engineering and supplier qualification.
• Manage component lifecycle, obsolescence mitigation, and supplier relationships.
• Conduct FMEA, risk assessments, and design reviews to identify vulnerabilities.
• Support compliance activities for safety and regulatory approvals.
• Develop automated test solutions (hardware/software) and collaborate with global sites.
• Maintain accurate engineering documentation and test records.
