Job summary

GovTech in Singapore seeks a Senior/Assistant Engineer (Electrical) to oversee electrical maintenance for water treatment facilities. You will coordinate contractors, plan shutdowns, troubleshoot faults, and assist in budgeting and procurement for TERM and ad-hoc works.

The role involves updating MEICA schedules, managing purchase orders, and ensuring safety compliance on site at the Ulu Pandan Water Reclamation Plant. Applicants should have a relevant diploma and 2 years’ maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electronics and Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Preferably 2 years of relevant maintenance experience on electrical equipment.
• Proficient in computer skills and basic MS Office usage.
• Able to work in a used water treatment environment and perform site works.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise contractors performing electrical works on motors, switchboards, transformers, and related equipment.
• Plan and execute shutdowns for servicing and maintenance of electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot faults and recommend repair works.
• Prepare technical specifications, scope of works, and cost estimates for maintenance contracts.
• Maintain MEICA schedules and support budget planning for electrical projects.
• Procure via WOG ACE/AMS, raise POs/WO/JPs, and issue GRNs/CCs for services rendered.
• Ensure safety compliance, conduct toolbox talks and risk assessments, and review SWPs.
