Job summary

MICHAEL PAGE (PERSONNEL) PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Electrical/Embedded Systems Engineer in Singapore to lead product transfer from development to manufacturing. You will drive NPI, sustaining, and ramp-up activities for complex electro‑mechanical products.

Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and suppliers to optimize PCBA, testing, and validation, applying FMEA, DOE, and root cause analysis. Strong background in analog/digital electronics and microcontrollers is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Embedded Systems, Mechatronics, or related.
• 5+ years in product engineering, NPI, or manufacturing engineering environments.
• Strong knowledge of analog and digital electronics and PCBA manufacturing.
• Experience with embedded systems integration, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with microcontrollers and protocols (SPI, I2C, UART, USB, Ethernet).
• Hands-on PCB design with Altium or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead product transfer activities from development into manufacturing operations.

• Drive root cause investigations, corrective actions, and continuous improvement to improve quality, yield, and cost.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, engineering changes, BOMs, validation plans, and manufacturing procedures.
• Support electrical design activities including schematics, PCBAs, component selection, and DFM reviews.
• Coordinate testing, verification, and validation for electrical and embedded systems.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to resolve technical issues and deploy products successfully.

Job Description

• Lead product transfer activities from development into manufacturing operations.

• Develop and maintain technical documentation, engineering changes, BOMs, validation plans, and manufacturing procedures.
• Support electrical design activities including schematics, PCBAs, component selection, and design-for-manufacturability reviews.
• Coordinate testing, verification, and validation activities for both electrical and embedded systems.
• Partner with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to resolve technical issues and ensure successful product deployment.

The Successful Applicant

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Embedded Systems, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in product engineering, NPI, manufacturing engineering, or sustaining engineering environments.
• Strong understanding of analog and digital electronics, circuit theory, and PCBA manufacturing processes.
• Experience with embedded systems integration, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with microcontrollers and communication protocols such as SPI, I2C, UART, USB, or Ethernet.
• Hands-on experience with PCB design tools such as Altium Designer or equivalent platforms.
• Knowledge of engineering methodologies including FMEA, DOE, 8D, 5 Whys, and root cause analysis.
• Understanding of engineering change management, BOM structures, and product lifecycle processes.
• Experience working within highly regulated manufacturing industries is advantageous.
• Exposure to FPGA technologies, LabVIEW, Python, SAP, or PLM systems will be beneficial.
