Job summary

TSTAR RECRUIT PTE. LTD. is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for hardware development from concept through production. You will design schematics, lay out PCBs, and lead bring-up and verification with cross-functional teams in Singapore.

The role requires hands-on Cadence Concept HDL and Cadence Allegro expertise, a solid x86/Intel/AMD platform background, and strong debugging skills. On-site work at Pasir Panjang, Mon-Fri 9-6.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field
• 3+ years of hardware development experience
• Hands-on Cadence Concept HDL and Cadence Allegro experience
• Familiar with x86 architecture and Intel/AMD platforms
• Strong PC/notebook system architecture knowledge
• Proficient in debugging and hardware testing methodologies
• Basic soldering skills

Our esteemed client, an established MNC, is searching for a Senior Electrical Engineer:

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the hardware development process from product definition to production launch.
• Design schematic diagrams and layouts for hardware components.
• Conduct system bring-up and verification to ensure functionality and performance.
• Identify, analyze, and troubleshoot hardware issues.
• Assess and review test reports from the New Product Introduction (NPI) process.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including firmware, software, layout, mechanical, and thermal engineers.
• Coordinate with stakeholders for design reviews, test report evaluations, and discussions on design implementation.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in hardware development.
• Hands-on experience with Cadence Concept HDL and Cadence Allegro.
• Familiarity with x86 architecture and experience in Intel/AMD platform design.
• Strong understanding of PC and notebook system architecture design.
• Expertise in debugging and hardware testing methodologies.
• Basic proficiency in soldering techniques.

Additional Information

Salary: Up to SGD 6,000 +VB (1 - 2 Months)

Working Location: Pasir Panjang

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm
