Job summary

eVantage HR Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Electrical / Electronics Engineer in Singapore to support an engineering project. The role focuses on PCBA design, hardware development, testing and product engineering throughout the development lifecycle.

You will design electronic hardware, perform schematic capture, select components, and work on analog and digital circuits. The contract is approximately one year with possibilities for transition to manufacturing and close collaboration with

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
• Hands-on experience in electronics hardware and PCBA design/development.
• Experience with schematic capture and component selection.
• Familiarity with Altium Designer, OrCAD, Cadence or equivalents.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Electrical / Electronics Engineer (EE) with strong PCBA design experience to support an engineering project in Singapore.

The successful candidate will be involved in electronic hardware and PCBA design, development, testing, troubleshooting and product engineering activities throughout the product development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop electronic hardware and PCBA solutions based on product and project requirements.
• Perform schematic capture, circuit design and component selection for electronic products.
• Work on analog and digital circuit design and related hardware development.
• Support PCB/PCBA design, prototype development, testing, debugging and validation.
• Perform design verification and validation to ensure products meet technical and functional requirements.
• Troubleshoot hardware and PCBA-related issues and conduct root-cause analysis.
• Support component selection, BOM review and engineering changes.
• Work closely with cross-functional engineering, manufacturing, quality and project teams.
• Participate in design reviews and provide technical recommendations for design improvements.
• Support prototype builds, NPI activities and transition of products into manufacturing.
• Ensure designs consider manufacturability, reliability, quality and applicable engineering standards.
• Prepare and maintain relevant engineering documentation, test results and technical reports.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electronic & Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Relevant hands-on experience in electronics hardware and PCBA design/development.
• Good knowledge of electronic circuit design, schematic capture and component selection.
• Experience with analog and/or digital circuit design.
• Familiarity with PCB design/development tools such as Altium Designer, OrCAD, Cadence or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience in hardware testing, debugging and troubleshooting.
• Able to read and interpret schematics, technical specifications and engineering documentation.
• Experience supporting prototype builds, product development, NPI or manufacturing environments would be advantageous.
• Knowledge of embedded hardware, microcontrollers, power electronics, high-speed digital design, signal integrity or EMC/EMI would be an advantage.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work effectively with cross-functional engineering and manufacturing teams.
