Job summary

NES Global PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to deliver engineering and design output for an FPSO extension project, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule requirements.

You may support other disciplines and act as lead engineer for electrical packages, reporting to the lead project engineer on progress, risks, and concerns. The role requires a Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering, about 8 years in oil and gas, experience with an operational FPSO

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 8 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering in the oil and gas industry.
• Experience supporting an operational FPSO asset.
• North Sea Oil & Gas experience.
• Knowledge of High Voltage.
• Experience as Lead Engineer to lead a team and delegate work; budgeting/planning experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engineering and design output for FPSO extension projects and ensure safety/quality/schedule compliance.
• Support interfaces and (inter) discipline checks across disciplines.
• Lead electrical discipline work, manage team, and oversee budget and planning.

Job description

As Electrical Engineer, you are responsible for delivering engineering and design output for an FPSO extension project, meeting defined project, safety, quality and schedule requirements. You provide support to other disciplines within time agreed like for interfaces and (inter) discipline checks. Furthermore, you can be assigned to take the role of lead engineer for the electrical discipline or package engineer for electrical packages. Within our E&I team you report to the lead (project) engineer on progress, setbacks and concerns on different projects and you signal technical risks and abnormalities within our projects.

We are looking for

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 8 years of years of relevant experience in electrical engineering in the oil and gas industry.
• Experience supporting an operational FPSO asset
• North Sea Oil & Gas experience
• You have knowledge of High Voltage.
• You have experience as Lead Engineer to lead a team and delegate work. In that capacity you have also experience in budget and planning related matters.
