Job summary

DxD Hub in Singapore invites an experienced Electrical & Embedded Engineer to own embedded hardware architecture and device firmware for new diagnostic platforms. You will select MCUs, interface with sensors, and oversee PCB design, validation, and vendor collaboration in a fast-paced, ISO 13485 environment.

You will work across medical device modalities, drive hardware–firmware interfaces, and mentor junior engineers while ensuring cost, schedule, and quality targets are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/ Electronics/ Computer/ Mechatronics/ Biomedical Engineering or related field.
• 5–10 years hands-on embedded systems experience with at least one full product cycle.
• Strong embedded firmware capability and peripheral interfacing experience.
• Experience in ISO 13485 or equivalent design control environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own embedded hardware architecture for diagnostic prototypes and MVPs.
• Develop firmware drivers, sensor acquisition, and real-time control loops.
• Define hardware–firmware interfaces and drive debugging at boundaries.
• Lead outsourced PCB design, reviews, and vendor collaborations.
• Oversee board bring-up, characterization, and fault diagnosis with partners.
• Ensure design data integrity, BOM accuracy, and documentation for compliance.
• Mentor junior engineers and support design control activities.
