Senior Electrical Electronics R&D Engineer
Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Key member of the team, contributing to the design, development, and implementation of innovative solutions in their specialized field.
- Lead the design, analysis, and development of less complex systems, components, or products.
- Collaborate with Product Management to align requirements from all customer aspects.
- Work with ME / eSW / MT / SE and all stakeholders such as PM, Service, QM, Sourcing, NPI, Production, Suppliers, Sales to align concepts.
- Ensure DFM / DFT are considered in design; support and make recommendations after detailed analysis.
- Develop action plans to identify root causes and implement solutions.
- Coordinate with departments like product management, Project Management, Service, NPI, and operations.
- Own projects from concept to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Provide engineering solutions according to specifications and update the team on progress.
- Develop and execute EE test plans, validate designs, analyze results, and iterate on designs.
- Create/review test plans, monitor testing, review results, and drive design improvements.
- Review RS, create/review User Manual, PDS/MDS, schematic, PCB layout, and other manufacturing data.
- Lead innovations, prepare IP slides, and support patent filings.
- Ensure all activities comply with industry standards and safety protocols.
- Implement solutions meeting safety, ESD, EMC, noise, RoHS, and CE requirements.
- Support ISO audits and certifications like ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001.
- Mentor junior members and ensure adherence to development guidelines.
- Participate in design reviews and manage multiple projects with conflicting priorities.
- Enhance multitasking skills and collaborate with project managers on prioritization.
- Engage in continuous learning and participate in PSG and PAG projects.
Requirements:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline.
- 5 to 8 years of experience in circuit design, analog/digital electronics, power electronics, and wiring.
- Proficiency in design and simulation tools (e.g., PADS, ePLAN, Hyperlynx, ActiveHDL, SPICE).
- Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and compliance.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a track record of addressing complex challenges.
- Focus on high-quality results, meeting objectives, and performance expectations.
- Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and develop innovative solutions.
- Proactive in adopting new technologies and improving design methodologies.
