Job summary

CENTROID ENGINEERING SOLUTIONS PTE. LTD. seeks a Senior Electrical Designer to support semiconductor tool installation, hook-up and site coordination.

You will develop electrical designs, review tool needs, and coordinate power, cabling and interfaces with customers and contractors to meet project requirements and schedule. The role requires a practical, site-oriented professional who can interpret drawings, coordinate multiple contractors and resolve installation issues while maintaining close

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical design for semiconductor tool installations.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings and project specs.
• Strong onsite coordination with customers, vendors and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review and update electrical drawings and documentation for semiconductor tool installation and hook-up projects.
• Review equipment and tool electrical requirements including power supply, grounding and connections.
• Develop and coordinate electrical layouts, single-line diagrams and cable schedules.
• Coordinate power tapping points and ensure power availability for tools.
• Coordinate cable routing and termination requirements.
• Review vendor drawings and electrical interfaces prior to site execution.
• Ensure designs comply with codes and customer requirements.
• Coordinate with customers, tool owners, vendors and contractors on installation and hook-up requirements.
• Attend planning meetings with customers and contractors.
• Coordinate hook-up activities from power source to tool including testing.
• Coordinate interfaces between tool, facility, and other contractors.
• Site conditions review to sequence works with tool delivery.
• Coordinate with mechanical, HVAC, process, gas, controls teams.
• Conduct site inspections and verify installation quality.
• Coordinate testing and commissioning.
• Maintain records and support handover.
