EA RECRUITMENT PTE LTD seeks a skilled Electrical Design Engineer in Singapore to design LV switchboards, MCCs, and control panels per customer specs. You will prepare drawings and documentation using AutoCAD and ensure designs meet project requirements and safety codes.
The ideal candidate has a Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 3 years of LV switchboard design experience and familiarity with BOMs, procurement, and cross-functional collaboration.

5-day work week (Mon–Fri: 8.15am – 5.45pm)
Design Low Voltage (LV) switchboards, Motor Control Centres (MCC), control panels, and electrical consoles according to customer specifications and company standards.
Prepare approval drawings, shop drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation using AutoCAD.
Review project specifications, electrical drawings, and customer requirements to ensure accurate design and compliance.
Prepare material requisition lists and Bills of Materials (BOM) for production.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal departments on technical clarifications and design requirements.
Work closely with the Production team to ensure smooth fabrication and resolve design-related issues.
Support the Sales team by providing technical information and design solutions during project discussions.
Ensure designs comply with company quality standards and relevant electrical codes.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance design quality, efficiency, and productivity.
Perform other duties assigned by the superior.
Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
Minimum 3 years of experience in the electrical design of LV switchboards, switchgear, MCC, control panels, or power distribution systems.
Experience in a switchboard manufacturer, panel builder, or electrical equipment manufacturing environment will be highly preferred.
Proficient in AutoCAD and able to interpret electrical schematics and single-line diagrams (SLD).
