Job summary

SEMICONDUCTOR TECHNOLOGIES & INSTRUMENTS PTE LTD is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to develop electrical designs that meet specifications, quality and safety standards.

You will select components, draft drawings, provide technical support during assembly and testing, and ensure compliance with change notices. The role requires 5+ years of experience, grounding knowledge, 2D CAD drafting, and willingness to travel overseas for field support.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineer.
• More than 5 years of equipment electrical design experience.
• Knowledge of grounding requirements used in industrial control systems.
• Electrical drafting knowledge using 2D CAD system.
• Must be prepared to work overtime when necessary.
• Able to travel overseas for field support when required.

Responsibilities

• Produce electrical designs that comply with specification, quality and safety standards.
• Ability to select appropriate electrical components and cables with due consideration given to size layout and cost.
• Produce and revise electrical documentation and drawings.
• Provide technical support to the Operations team during assembly and testing.
• Conduct troubleshooting and drive closure on equipment electrical related matters.
• Comply with "Change Notice" procedures concerning electrical parts replacement.
