Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Singapore is seeking a Principal Engineer, Electrical & Control Engineering to lead the Fab10 Facilities Electrical & Control Engineering team, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operation of critical electrical and automation infrastructure in semiconductor manufacturing.

The role drives continuous improvement, mentors engineers, and partners with cross-functional teams to advance AI, PLC/SCADA, and automation initiatives for capacity growth and technology

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
10+ years in semiconductor/manufacturing facilities environments.
5+ years in people leadership or supervision.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a team of electrical and control engineers to meet safety, reliability, and cost targets.
Drive AI, machine learning, and digital technologies within Facilities for reliability and efficiency.
Oversee HV/MV/LV distribution, UPS, generators, PLC, SCADA, and facility automation systems.
Advance maintenance, asset management, and obsolescence strategies.
Support capacity expansion projects, tool installations, and facility upgrades.
Manage contractors and ensure regulatory compliance.
Collaborate with manufacturing, construction, procurement, and global teams.
