Job summary

WAH LOON ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced electrical commissioning professional to supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of LV/MV systems on local projects in Singapore.

The role requires a Grade 7/8 EMA electrician's license, 5+ years of hands-on experience, and strong reading of drawings, with emphasis on safety compliance and site coordination. You will liaise with clients and vendors and contribute to timely project delivery.

Qualifications

• Certified LEW Grade 7 / 8 with valid EMA Electrician's License.
• Hands-on experience in troubleshooting electrical equipment.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant local experience in electrical installation, testing, and commissioning works.
• Experience with MV/LV electrical systems and equipment.
• Knowledge of Singapore electrical codes, regulations, and safety requirements.
• Able to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documents.
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive, responsible, and able to work in a fast-paced project environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of LV/MV electrical systems and equipment.
• Review electrical drawings, Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), and technical submissions.
• Conduct site inspections and coordinate testing activities with clients, consultants, REs, and RTOs.
• Liaise with suppliers and vendors on technical matters and equipment selection.
• Attend project meetings and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure project progress.
• Prepare and submit testing, commissioning, and site acceptance reports.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and statutory requirements.
• Support project execution and undertake duties assigned by the Commissioning Lead or Project Manager.
