Job summary

Direct Search Global is seeking an experienced EIT Manager to lead Electrical, Instrumentation and Telecommunication engineering for shipyard projects including repair, newbuilding and offshore work.

You will oversee design, installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of EIT systems, ensure compliance with classification societies and marine standards, and coordinate with multiple disciplines to deliver on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical, Instrumentation or Telecommunication engineering.
• Experience in shipyard/marine/offshore EIT engineering.
• Proven experience managing EIT teams.
• Strong knowledge of marine electrical systems and telecommunication equipment.
• Familiarity with classification society requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Electrical, Instrumentation and Telecommunication department for shipyard projects.
• Oversee EIT systems from design to testing, commissioning and maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with international marine standards and classification rules.
• Coordinate with project management, naval architecture, mechanical and piping disciplines.
• Mentor engineers and manage manpower, budgets and schedules.
• Drive continuous improvement in EIT efficiency, safety and quality.
