  • 5 years experience in chemical/manufacturing/pharmaceutical/oil & gas.

Senior EHS Specialist - Your future position?

As a Senior EHS Specialist, you will be under the leadership of the EHS Manager, giving support on his daily job and especially on one or more EHS specifications as well as promoting the EHS culture across the organization.

In this exciting role, you will;

  • Act as a technical resource on Environment Health & Safety (EHS) and fire protection
  • Compile EHS data, reports, and documentation and present information during monthly WSHC meeting
  • Develop and implement EHS programs and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable EHS regulations
  • Conduct risk assessments & workplace inspections to recommend appropriate corrective actions
  • Conducttraining classes and education programs to reinforce EHS awareness
  • Lead and implement programs for the recognition, evaluation, and control of physical and chemical hazards
  • Evaluate new processes, chemicals, and equipment pertaining to EHS aspects
  • Oversee site security management and sustainability data such as waste reporting, water, and electricity usage
  • Other tasks/projects assigned by Supervisor

Your professional profile includes:

  • Possess a Degree in Engineering
  • Registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer with MOM is required
  • Registered Fire Safety Manager with SCDF would be an added advantage
  • At least 5 years of working experience in the chemical/manufacturing/ pharmaceutical/ oil & gas industries
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Dynamic, self-motivated, proactive, and result-oriented
  • Willing to perform the hands-on job in a production environment with laboratory and logistics operations
  • Open to be based on-site in Woodlands
