Job description:

Purpose of Role:

Maintains the organization EHS management system by inspecting the implementation of EHS Management System, performing frequent audits on the operational control, evaluating against compliance to legal regulations, EHS MS, and other standards. Possesses analytical skills and values collaboration in order to solve problems.

Responsibilities:

1. Supports project & department to comply with EHS regulations & policies
2. Stay up-to-date on changes to safety regulations and industry best practices
3. Collaborate with management and other departments to ensure a safe and healthy work environment
4. Prepare reports and presentations on safety performance and provide recommendations for improvement
5. Plan and execute the safety management system audits
6. Work with clients to develop or make improvements to the safety management system
7. Work with operations/EHS team to develop policies and procedures specific to their needs
8. Organise and conduct EHS inspection on projects assigned
9. Drive project EHSMS for compliance
10. Participate in EHS related incident investigation
11. Undertake key department duties as assigned by Asst Mgr (EHS)/ Mgr (EHS)

Requirements:

1. Diploma/Degree related to EHS or any Engineering fields
2. Possess 3 years' experience in EHS role
3. Possess Hotwork Assessor Certification & Confined Space Assessor Certification are added advantage
4. Good understanding of Workplace Safety & Health Act & Shipbuilding & Ship Repairs regulation
5. Good report writing, incident investigation, and analytical skills
6. Possess strong leadership and interpersonal skills
7. Proficient in MS Office for reporting and presentation purposes
8. Only Singapore Citizens will be considered for this role
