Senior E2 Engineering Lead

Job summary

Thales in Singapore seeks an experienced engineering leader to manage a multidisciplinary team delivering E2 software-centric solutions. You will mentor engineers, manage workflow, and ensure on-time releases aligned with program needs while upholding Thales processes and continuous improvement.

The role requires strong SDLC knowledge, hands-on experience with DevSecOps tools (Ansible, Jenkins, Jira, Confluence, Terraform, Git), and Azure.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT or other relevant qualification.
• 7+ years managing E2 for a complex software-centric environment.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Experience with DevSecOps toolkits including Ansible, Jenkins, Artifactory, Jira, Terraform, Git/Version Control.
• Experience with AZURE.
• Infrastructure as Code, Configuration Management and Containerisation.
• System optimisation balancing workloads between cloud and on-premise.
• Cross-functional collaboration with developers, DevSecOps teams and stakeholders.
• Experience delivering products using Lean/Agile methodologies; Agile@Scale is a bonus.
• Proficient in using Jira, Confluence and other collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers to deliver engineering solutions aligning with customer expectations.
• Provide direction, mentoring, and workflow management to achieve project milestones.
• Oversee timely delivery of E2 solution releases and support program needs.
• Promote knowledge sharing and ensure documentation for reuse across projects.
• Drive technical events and change control boards to support governance.
• Support project teams and ensure alignment with Thales processes and global framework.
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders and report on progress and risks.
• Drive continuous improvement and adoption of new technologies and practices.
