Job summary
NAVSAR ENGINEERING INTERNATIONAL PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced E&I Commissioning & Operations Engineer for a combined cycle power project in Singapore.
The role focuses on energisation, commissioning, start-up, and ensuring operational readiness of electrical, instrumentation, and control systems. You will bridge construction and commercial operation, lead testing and fault-finding, and oversee handover activities while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to meet milestones and safety
Qualifications
- Degree or trade in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation & Control or related field.
- 5+ years of verifiable experience in E&I commissioning and operations in power plants.
Responsibilities
- Lead E&I testing and commissioning for turbines, switchgear, transformers, MCCs and field instrumentation.
- Perform loop checks, functional tests, calibration and verification of control systems (DCS/PLC) and SIS.
- Collaborate with EPC client engineers, OEMs, subcontractors and operations teams to resolve interfaces and ensure system integration.
- Provide expert operational support during start-up, performance testing and early operation phases.
- Prepare commissioning dossiers, punch lists and handover documentation to client operations teams.
- Ensure activities comply with project specs, safety regulations and quality standards.
