Job summary
Elsa Talent Solutions Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Senior Electrical & Automation Engineer for a 6-month contract in Singapore to lead electrical and automation activities on DP, PMS and VMS systems during a drydock project.
The role requires hands-on DP upgrades, FAT/SAT coordination, and strong coordination with Siemens and Kongsberg, plus robust project leadership in offshore/marine environments.
Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in electrical, automation, control or marine engineering in offshore, marine, shipyard, O&G or heavy industrial environments.
- Proven DP3 vessel experience is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage electrical and automation activities related to DP system, PMS and VMS upgrades across the drydock project.
- Manage DP system upgrade readiness, testing, commissioning and operational requirements.
- Coordinate with Siemens and Kongsberg on system upgrades, requirements, engineering activities and troubleshooting.
- Lead PMS/VMS upgrades and obsolescence management including risk assessment and upgrade strategies.
- Coordinate FAT, SAT and associated inspection and testing activities.
- Lead electrical and automation commissioning, system integration and performance verification.
- Monitor upgrade progress and ensure milestones align with drydock schedule.
- Provide regular technical progress updates and document control for the project.
