Senior Director, Strategy & Corporate Planning

Our client is embarking on a transformational journey; to continue reaping the successes brought about by the continued pivoting of the business. As they focus on leadership renewal and succession plan, they are now seeking a Senior Director, Strategy & Corporate Planning to be part of the senior leadership team, in continuing this path of innovation and growth.

Role

Embedded in the CEO's office, you will lead a lean team in leading the strategy functions for the group. This will include supporting the senior leaders in the annual strategic planning process, mindful of the evolving geopolitical situation, available technology, market competition and disrupted landscape, brought on by emerging AI. All this to stay ahead of the curve, identify opportunities and be in a position to capitalize and help catapult the business to the next levels.

Requirements

Ideally, you have a minimum of 20 years of relevant experience in corporate strategy gained in both consulting firms as well as in dynamic, complex corporates. You are commercially oriented, strategic in thought and operational in execution. Resilient and tenacious, you are driven and have excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to effectively engage with senior stakeholders both internal and external are critical success factors of this role.
