Areas of responsibility:
- Drive a data-driven approach to managing our established Consumer Core products (Credit, Debit, and Prepaid), including tools, processes, and operating models.
- Identify, develop, and execute strategic product initiatives, such as expanding Visa's consumer credit portfolio in line with the Visa 2030 strategy to increase PV and revenue across Asia Pacific.
- Promote Visa's thought leadership in the AP payments industry through sharing best practices and market insights related to Core Products.
- Lead a team of direct reports in Singapore and collaborate with Core Product market teams across AP to develop end-to-end consumer experiences that foster client preference for Visa as a strategic partner and enhance value propositions for digitally-enabled consumers.
- Oversee the identification, development, commercialization, and launch of new growth avenues for the consumer unsecured credit business in AP, working with issuers and global teams to expand credit-card issuance and explore innovative credit facilitation methods like BNPL.
- Facilitate the gathering, analysis, and dissemination of best practices and recommendations for optimal Core Consumer Product performance, both internally and as a thought leader externally, in partnership with Visa Consulting & Analytics.
- Collaborate effectively with market teams and Visa's global teams to ensure platforms drive product differentiation, consumer activation, and engagement.
- Work closely with in-market teams, client-facing teams, and global counterparts across departments such as Corporate Strategy, Marketing, Client Services, Finance, Pricing, and Legal.
- Require 15+ years of experience, including at least 8-10 years in the payments industry, with a focus on product strategy, development, and management.
- Proven experience in product management with a track record of leveraging data and analytics for insights.
- Credentials in delivering product and business solutions, with a keen interest in payment technology and innovation.
- Strategic thought leadership with an execution bias to drive initiatives and achieve key results.
- Understanding of network products, rules, and technology is advantageous.
- Knowledge of the payments landscape in Asia Pacific is preferred.
- Strong business acumen, analytical skills, and an understanding of new payment business models and profitability drivers.
Additional qualifications that would be helpful:
- Master's Degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
