Main Duties & Responsibilities:
We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Senior Director of Global Operations to lead and scale our manufacturing operations. This critical leadership role is responsible for end-to-end management, driving shopfloor operational excellence, and ensuring global supply continuity, aligning operations with strategic business growth and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
- Drive seamless and efficient operations across the global manufacturing site, ensuring alignment with company goals for quality, cost, delivery, and safety (QCDS).
- Provide strategic and hands-on leadership to multi-site factory operations, with a focus on shopfloor execution, throughput optimization, and capacity planning.
- Champion lean manufacturing principles, automation initiatives, and digital transformation on the shopfloor to improve productivity and reduce waste.
- Lead operational readiness for new product introductions (NPI) in collaboration with engineering and product management teams.
- Establish and sustain an Operational Excellence framework across the shopfloor, embedding structured problem-solving and process standardization.
- Initiate and oversee continuous improvement projects focused on cycle time reduction, yield enhancement, and bottleneck elimination on the shopfloor.
- Implement best practices and benchmarking programs to foster a culture of continuous learning, performance excellence, and innovation.
Cross-Functional & Global Collaboration
- Work closely with global manufacturing Business Units heads, Supply Chain leaders, and finance to drive alignment on cost targets, capital expenditure planning, and operational KPIs.
- Serve as a key member of the Global Operations leadership team, contributing to strategic initiatives and enterprise-wide operational governance.
- Collaborate closely with Planning, Purchasing and Procurement, and Logistics to align demand-supply signals and minimize inventory risks. Develop and implement end-to-end inventory strategies covering forecasting, raw materials planning, WIP control, and finished goods distribution.
People & Culture
- Inspire, mentor, and develop a high-performance operations team across geographies, fostering a culture of accountability, agility, and continuous improvement.
- Build succession plans and leadership pipelines for critical operations roles within the organization.
Candidate Profile:
Our ideal candidate will be one who has most of the below criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field; Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
- 15+ years of progressive experience in operations leadership roles within a high-tech manufacturing industry.
- Proven track record of managing multi-site global manufacturing and inventory operations at scale.
- Strong background in lean manufacturing, factory automation, and ERP/MES systems.
- Deep understanding of semiconductor shopfloor operations, cleanroom protocols, and capital equipment constraints.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills across global teams and functions.
- Change leader with experience navigating complex, matrixed environments.
