Overview
On behalf of one of its clients working in the luxury F&B sector, the French Chamber of commerce is looking for a Senior Digital Marketing Executive.
This position is responsible for managing the global company's digital business which includes the formulation and implementation of digital sales, marketing, content and logistic strategies globally with the objective of driving net sales while maintaining luxury market positioning. This role requires an understanding of digital marketing, customer service, social media advertising, and CMS management.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute integrated digital strategies in conjunction with wider company objectives, including the creation of a digital marketing calendar in conjunction with the hiring company HQ marketing calendar.
- Responsible for site management for respective markets, achieving sales targets and sales forecast planning as well as content and product management.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including PR, marketing, sales, digital warehouse and customer service, to drive activities with overall business goals.
- Oversee order processing and fulfilment, customer service tracking and responses, including creation and implementation of best practices.
- Create an exceptional customer experience at every touchpoint by analyzing each journey stage and implementing strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Plan member engagements ranging from campaign EDM communication to member-exclusive privileges for members of the hiring company’s loyalty program.
- Liaise with language leads and proofread marketing content in French and other languages (as required) to create dynamic digital marketing and sales campaigns.
- Optimize digital platform content and design to meet sales objectives; develop plans and targeted strategies to drive sales, according to the hiring company HQ corporate marketing/design guidelines. Monitor campaign performances and provide analysis.
- Collaborate with digital agencies to create and manage paid media campaigns.
- Responsible for liaising with SEO agencies and for maintaining optimal SEO standards across all sites.
- Analyse and report data from various web and digital marketing analytics (i.e. Google Analytics) to derive insights and propose data-driven decisions.
- Identify opportunities for the brand to use digital technology to enhance their overall marketing mix: product, price, place, or promotion.
- Perform detailed research into luxury brands across multiple markets and support with research, analysis, and reporting related to digital, such as market research, target segmentation, and brand strategy, and present recommendations.
- De-construct competitive best practices in digital marketing and create benchmarks for the respective markets.
- Define global digital architecture detailing what sites and assets the brand will maintain in different markets in various versions and languages, and conduct asset audits to map a brand’s web presence and assess the effectiveness of each asset.
- Manage 3rd party integrations and relationships with payment platforms, shipping and courier companies, etc.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in strategic digital marketing.
- Experience managing ecommerce campaigns in European/North American markets preferred.
- Strong grasp of marketing principles: segmentation, value proposition, positioning, and brand strategy.
- Knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics, Google AdWords, and Facebook Ads Manager.
- Familiarity with CMS platforms, website design, HTML, social/paid advertising, URL architecture, programmatic advertising, email marketing, and ecommerce.
- Fluency in French is a strong advantage to liaise with teams and vendors in France; strong proofreading/writing skills in French are highly valued.
- Strong presentation skills; experience in the luxury industry is a plus.
