Job summary

STMICROELECTRONICS ASIA PACIFIC PTE LTD in Singapore seeks a Digital Design Engineer to join a team developing new and existing products. You will own the full digital design flow, from architecture specification to IP/SOC design, applying rigorous timing and power techniques and collaborating with architecture, verification, firmware and applications teams.

You will verify at IP and SOC levels, perform FPGA/SoC synthesis and evaluate silicon designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Electrical/Electronics or higher qualifications.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Digital Design.
• Proficiency in Verilog/SystemVerilog HDL.
• Solid understanding of digital theory, including STA and high-speed/low-power design techniques, CDC and RDC.
• Practical experience in using/creating SystemVerilog test benches.
• Good knowledge of scripting languages (PERL, Python…).
• Knowledge of digital signal processing techniques is a plus.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• A motivated individual with strong communication and be passionate about digital design.

Responsibilities

• Play an important role in development of new and existing products across the digital design flow.
• Oversee architecture specification to design of IPs/SOC with rigorous methodologies.
• Collaborate with architecture, verification, firmware and application teams to align with functionalities.
• Verify at IP and SOC levels, perform FPGA and SoC synthesis and final evaluation of designs on silicon.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to career progression in the team.
