Job summary

Singtel is seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to drive the automation and reliability of internal tools and platform development. You will design, build and deliver scalable CI/CD solutions, IaC, and automation across development, staging and production environments.

You will mentor teams, implement cloud-native patterns, and ensure alignment with IT, security and architecture standards while adopting best practices in DevOps, monitoring and governance.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on DevOps experience for complex systems.
• Design, implement and operate CI/CD and infrastructure automation.
• Strong Linux (Ubuntu) experience and container orchestration.
• Experience with public clouds (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of networking, IaC, and monitoring tooling.

Responsibilities

• Architect, implement and automate CI/CD pipelines across environments.
• Develop and maintain DevOps engineering standards and best practices.
• Identify opportunities to improve deployment consistency, reliability and automation.
• Design and implement Infrastructure as Code and automated deployments.
• Develop tools and scripts to automate deployment and operational processes.
• Guide teams toward architecture, security and engineering principles.
• Provide technical guidance on application and infrastructure automation.
• Mentor engineers and share knowledge across teams.
• Integrate security controls and testing into DevOps processes.
• Drive continuous improvements in design, development and delivery.
• Improve system reliability and recovery with monitoring and automation.
• Promote an automation-first engineering approach.
